Volunteer Coordinator Job Description

The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for recruitment, training, motivation, organization, planning, and appreciation of the organization’s volunteers.

Duties as a Volunteer Coordinator include:

·         Being the point of contact for people who wish to do volunteer work

·         Assessing organization’s volunteer needs

·         Defining the volunteer positions and the job descriptions tied to each position.

·         Promoting volunteering opportunities through recruitment, publicity strategies and campaigns

·         Recruiting volunteers and ensure they are appropriately matched and trained for a job

·         Conducting regularly scheduled meetings with volunteers, providing on-going training, support and updates

·         Actively engage and encourage volunteers to ensure they are motivated by the cause

·         Developing a plan for and executing volunteer recognition/appreciation awards and/or events.

·         Maintaining informational databases and assume other administrative duties

Event Marketing & Promotion Coordinator Job Description

The Event Marketing & Promotion Coordinator is responsible for leading the charge of marketing Eve Rising's events and mission.

Duties as an Event Marketing & Promotion Coordinator include:

·         Developing design concept for print and online capital campaign

·         Directing and coordinating design execution for print and online materials

·         Managing shipping and receiving of print materials

·         Managing distribution of prints to promote capital campaign

·         Coordinating and performing outreach initiatives to local communities

·         Working with other committees and assume administrative tasks to fulfill duties

·         Attend meetings on a regular basis

Merchandise Coordinator Job Description

The Merchandise Coordinator is responsible for placing orders, maintaining inventory of stock and sales. Other primary responsibilities also include merchandise presentation at events, merchandise sales and appropriate staffing for events.

Duties as a Merchandise Coordinator include:

·         Researching for cost effective merchandise items

·         Negotiating and communicating with merchants and vendors

·         Placing orders and when necessary plan ahead to restock items.

·         Maintaining inventory of stock and sales

·         Staging of merchandise to promote sales and attract customers at events

·         Providing quality customer service

·         Working with other committees and assume administrative tasks to fulfill duties

·         Attend meetings on a regular basis
